Some situations where praise is appropriate, vitally important and lifechanging…

When you are merry, praise the Lord!
When you are wondering about your purpose, praise the Lord!
When you are suffering from spirit of despair, praise the Lord!
When you have an awesome fear (reverence) of God, praise the Lord!
When you trust him and he helps you, praise the Lord!
When you remember his holy name, praise the Lord!
When you remember that his kindness is better than life, praise the Lord
When you soul is satisfied, praise the Lord!
When you see his goodness, praise the Lord!
When recalling that you’re fearfully and wonderfully made, praise the Lord!
When he delivers the poor from the hand of the wicked, praise the Lord!
When he gives you refreshing water to drink, praise the Lord!
When we witness his creation, praise the Lord!

When facing seemingly unbeatable foes, praise the Lord! (‘Remember Jehoshaphat?)
When you are seeking the Lord and his glory, praise the Lord!
If you are grieved by various trials, praise the Lord!
When you don’t see him, but you still believe him,, praise the Lord!
